Let me see, if I were a top CEO of a large fortune five hundred company,
making a 2.5 million (eg $2,500,000.00) per year, I would get a
$125,000.00 salary increase. If I world an employee with a family of
three, making $16,000.00 per year, which is the current poverty level
break point, I would get a $800.00 raise. And you think this would be
fair? Let me guess your answer:
The top CEO and the laborer are both in debt up to their eyeballs and
broke, they are just broke on different levels, right. LOL
Based on your thinking, you could have authored the Bush Tax cut policy.

Depends on the employer. Instead of raising the minimum wage, why not raise

Well then, a raise in the minimum wage would not place an undue burden
on Employers, so why did the Republican leadership use parliamentary
procedure to block a vote, thus killing it?

that's because only 5% of the country works for minimum wage

At the same time that Republicans are fighting to exempt the richest
estates from taxes, they are blocking a raise for the nation's poorest
workers.

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the
right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting
moment.
