Only to a trained conservative driver. My son is more of the "I have to step on a peddle as long as it's moving" type of driver. So he hits the gas, then the breaks, then the gas,..... If you know how to coast you can get those savings, but most people drive poorly from an economic POV. Just put a vacuum meter on the dash and let people see the needle drop to 0 all the time they are driving. > You can add to the above advantages, that a diesel engine will burn > about any fuel, so biodiesel, as an alternative fuel to petrol diesel, > looks very attractive. Conservation is something that the USA just doesn't understand. As pioneers of the "I want it ALL", or the "One with the most toys wins" lifestyles we are hard pressed to back off and use less. Let alone something as barbaric as say,,,,, mass transit! _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
