I finally got around to installing Vista Beta 2 last night in a Virtual

The gaming pc at home though seems to boot it up okay. Haven't played
with it though as I had to leave it installing over night! Man it took
ages!

I read somewhere that Vista will be super fast to install as it uses
imaging technology (like Ghost). Maybe that bit's not released yet...

One thing I did notice though! The first user still has admin
privileges! When are they gonna change this???

Stupidity! That's the root cause of all the security problems in
Windows. If the default back in NT or 2000 was to give users
non-admin rights then us programmers (admit it, we're all guilty!)
wouldn't have written programs that assume this.

It's a catch-22. Run as admin and all your programs & spyware work
fine. Run as a standard user and half your programs don't work.
