I'm not 100% sure, but I think if you would try to go to the 2nd page in the Preview (assuming there was more than 1 page), the error would rear it's head again. I seem to recall that is what happened to me.
I've never come across it before because I normally have a print class which displays a modal form with no grids etc to allow selection of the printeror.
