Hi John!

I built my profox reputation as a hot-head over his charity habits. You
weren't with us at the time, but briefly, we (Sun Health Foundation, Inc.)
asked for permission to use Windows 95 from an OEM disk we had.

We weren't asking for support, media or money, just permission. It would have
cost them $1 at the time. Oh, OK, $5 if their typists get health care. They
refused, and spent hundreds trying to put a nice face on it, lying through
their teeth all the while.

The counter proposal was that we take advantage of their charity "discounts."
It would have cost us $40,000. That's when we went to Linux. The thread is in
the profox archives somewhere. Same thread as the W2K Service Pack 3
discussion.

Regards,

Pete
