Healthcare in the US is the best in the world. Nobody rafts to Cuba for healthcare. American doctors on the Canadian border do amazing business as Canadians cross the border to avoid long waits. In America, if you have an emergency, the hospital has to accept you with or without insurance, even illegal aliens.
The worst thing to happen to US healthcare is the election of Barack Obama. My uncle's urologist retired because he didn't want to deal with lower fees and long waiting lines. That's happening all over the country.
