ASSERTS are a better way to invoke the debugger than SET STEP ON as they will 
not cause errors in a runtime environment.

Whatever your validation routine is, I would test what happens when you put the 
code in those events By the way, a good way to follow the flow of the program 
is to put a SET STEP ON somewhere before you hit the grid and test your code 
line by line.
