More research suggests that there is no such thing as a stick PC running
any OS that has a full-featured web browser that supports Flash.

And as I've said, I've already got a "smart TV" that can get streaming
stuff from the internet and can run all kinds of paid apps. But apparently
a "smart TV" is too smart to run stupid old ordinary free Hulu, or a really
useable web browser. So...

Maybe the next option is to use the TV as a dumb audio/visual terminal to
run input from my computer. If that's an option, then here's my situation:

The SONY Bravia TV has three HDMI inputs and I'm only using one. The TV
does accept WiFi--that's how it accesses Netflix, using my cable internet
connection via my WiFi router.

BUT, the TV does not have a direct digital WiFi interface. It can't be
controlled by my computer.

I don't have a home network and I don't really want to set one up to do
this.

So, if I hang a USB WiFi dongle off my PC and install some kind of server
software, is there some kind of WiFi HDMI device that I can plug into the
TV that will accept audio/visual input from my PC and put it on the TV? If
so, what do I need to know about screen resolution issues so I don't have a
grainy image on this 46" TV?

Thanks for any help.
