We use a Sharp MX-2310U combination copier/printer/scanner with sheet feed.
It's a big piece of kit but does network distribution to user folders for
scans if you log onto the unit or you can redirect to network shares.

No idea what price it is, but its good.

The company is considering scanning documents at our horse sale next
November, and we are looking for a fast scanner with a small footprint.  

Fujitsu has the ScanSnap series, and they look reasonable. The models in
this line have a 20-25 ppm speed, which seems fast.

It would be nice to have a model that allows you to name the individual
scans and send them to a specified folder.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the Fujitsu models, or
other brands.
