Hey Mike - I just read the LinkedIn posting. Man - that would TOTALLY Be a Bummer to have it cancelled. I've been wanting to go for a number of years now - but, the past co. I worked for - nor the current gig (my boss was the CEO & manager at my last job - and he started up THIS Co. after I was canned - then he was also Canned last Nov.). Ain't no way he would send me - all he complains about is that he can barely afford to pay our salaries (but, honestly - your boss should NEVER Tell Employees that - its up to THEM To Run the Business - and not keep complaining money is Tight - cause it shows they just don't know how to run a Business!!!).
And, I can't afford to pay my own way - at least not right now. I already go each year to my big Graphics conference (SIGGraph in end of July) - and can't afford another conf. right now!
