I suppose I am not in the position to say that either to be honest. But they
asked if the system will work on virtualisation so I guess I had better get
it clarified. Just hope its not citrix.

I'm usually not in a position with a client to say "Don't Do It" much as I
would like to. I have to resort to educating the client and trying to get
them to understand what they are trying to do. There are a lot of models of
computing, harking back to the "pay by the CPU second" mainframes and
"distributed computing" of smart terminals and minicomputers, through
gigabit LANS and now distributed computing where CPU, storage, bandwidth,
and individual components of the app can all be disparate. It's important
to understand the tradeoffs.
