I'm much more disturbed by the fact that they have read thousands of my
emails, know every page I have visited with Google Chrome, spy on
everything I do on my Android tablets, and have cross-referenced all this

I guess listening to your phone calls wasn't interesting enough. Too bad.
As I recall, they bought a couple of cool companies to come out with this
technology. I'm sure they've rolled it into interesting things like Google
Hangouts.
