Such is the power of the press, huh?

At what? What exactly did they accomplish? Are things better today, or
worse?

What?

We've been through this over and over. You are free to believe whatever
you want to.

I've been proposing a plan all along. It's central theme is to bring the
perps of that crime (those who lied and deceived us into launching that
invasion) to justice for the world to see that we are capable of
acknowledging and resolving our own problems. At the same time, we need
to apologize and make amends to the countless innocent people they have
hurt so badly.

We need to remove our military from the ME, and to get behind a stronger
UN for dealing with these problems, but the wmd problem first and
foremost. We can't play this moronic game of "we can have them but you
can't" right in the face of the reality that any country with scientists
can produce them. We need to move on this BEFORE they are used. We must
get our troops out of harms way without any further delay. Any more
blood is just more waste. To really turn this terrible situation around,
we should get into a different mode altogether, where our role in the
world is to find ways to make our/the world a better place, not conquer
and rule it. The world doesn't need more authority, it needs more
freedom from authority. But mostly, we need honest gov't. If we put
1/10th the effort into keeping gov't honest as gov't puts into
controlling us - the job would be done already.

> What's even crazier, is the democratic leadership can't either ....!

Corruption - that can be fixed by getting the big money out of politics,
and replacing the election process with one that takes advantage of
technology.
