Mike - I can Completely relate to your current situation - as I am Truly in the Same Boat! I got the Vaccine - and yet now I got sick pretty bad. I was 1st hit last week Tues. - and now its over a week - and I am still Hacking and coughing - and even gagging myself awake all nite long still. It surely SUCKS - especially at this time of year.
Worse yet - I'm a consultant - so, no show - no pay! I took off last week Tues. then Wed. and had hoped to go back in by Thur. or Fri. - but, no go. Finally - I came back in this week on Mon. - even though I am STILL Sick - and coughing a LOT here at work. Its nuts! But, of course, I just could NOT afford to take off More days w/No Pay - especially w/Xmas & early office closing day before - and same thing w/New Years. At least I can still Kick Butt here at work - even whilst being Sick as a Dog!
