I use the VFPEncryption.fll at the core of my framework for generating
16-byte character keys. I used to always use auto-increment integer
keys, but once I rewired the framework, I wouldn't go back. Reason
being is that 1) it's easy to do with disconnected datasets, and 2)
there might be offline processing so autoinc wouldn't work for those.

Allen (gatwicksoftware) has used this I believe so it may well be
worth catching up with him.

Anybody using this? I downloaded it from Craig Boyd's site and ran
his sample code (with my actual path) and it just returns .F. What am
I doing wrong?
SET LIBRARY TO c:\dev\myincludes\vfpcompression.fll
? ZipFolder("c:\crap",.F.)
Also, I searched for documentation on his site for the parms but only
saw the examples.
