Mike,
I use standard SQLite as a local database but I also have an app with external 
SQL Server/MySQL Link. The libraries and techniques for both are well 
documented on the B4i site and help is available from many other developers (as 
per here) on the forum site.

Thanks for the confirmation.  What database do you connect to and how do you do 
it (direct ODBC connection, web service, or what)?
