Hi Matt, are you sure it is not dependig on the pdf reader you are using?
Or simply because you have not selected the correct tool to select text? Anyway I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. In my tests with PDF generated by PDFCreator 2.5 and Microsoft print to PDF (Windows 10 CU) with and without GDI+ I can always select and copy text.
