I understand your POV; however, how hard is it to package the runtimes in with the updated executable in a self-extracting zip file executable? There are no files to register...just put the runtimes in the folder and off you go! Sure, there's the stuff you gotta consider like SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR 70 in the beginning of your main.prg but then you're golden!!!! -- Michael J.
