The Des Moines Register is trying to be even-handed and not choose one party
over the other. So are you comparing McCain to Hilary? Not enough said.

The same article in The Economist says McCain is not too old. "McCain is an
extraordinarily energetic 70-year-old, far more full of beans than many
younger candidates."

I have watched him on the Colbert Report show. McCain is very healthy. He
doesn't jump around and wave his arms nor does he yell and scream. Very
calm, cool and collected. I have no doubts that he is fit.

He may soften his stance a little on immigration: there are too many people
who want to staunch illegals.

Cannot predict now that Hilary will win a debate. McCain is very
sharp-witted.
