Hi Jean! Where the religion dictates that the church and state are one and the same it makes a great deal of difference. The Mormon religion WAS the government wherever there were Mormons for pretty much the first hundred or so years of it's existence. The Muslim religion controls or destroys the government in Muslim countries. Christian fundamentalists advocate religious government, but so far have not organized to the point of a serious effort. The religious left also has an orthodoxy to impose, but is even less effective than the RR. They are best at scolding the politically incorrect. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
