Just dealt with this same issue, just last night. My wife's XP Laptop had a DVD drive, but no player. Tried Media Player Classic that others raved about, but it wouldn't play. Then googled, and found out about codecs, and got K-Lite Codec pack. Ran the install, UNCHECKED everything except for Media Player Classic, and it runs like a champ! Actually, I still have the Install file (freeware) Want me to send it to you? _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
