That's great to hear.  Sounds like you have a pretty savvy boss.  Our 
FoxPro group stopped meeting a couple of years ago and I just started 
going to a Python user group.  I really missed the meetings and the 
exchange of information and am really enjoying getting back into it. 
For me is gets the creative juices flowing and also gives me renewed 
interest in my projects.  Especially the side ones that are not part of 
my daily work.

I certainly agree, "get out there... mix... mingle.... network...."
