Like Flash it is an add in for your browser.  The speed increase of content
over straight HTML on all browsers was well documented on the front end of
Silverlight coming out.  Using SL your delivery to browser IE / FF / Safari
was better.

If you are watching a flash move can you advance it?  In SL you can.
