EXE is on the server. I'd say it's wireless connection issues. If you get
Invalid Seek Offsets, that is a giveaway.

IBM Laptop - dual core, 1.7GHZ, large HDD, 2G RAM, Win XP Pro Application
resides on a 2003 server.

Application runs quick on a desktop at this location in the office.
When new laptop (describe above) is connected in its place; things get real
slow i.e. queries take minutes not seconds. The application opens slower
too.

I turned off Norton completely with no effect.

Why would the application slow down on the new laptop?

Any ideas to fix the speed issues?

TIA,
Mike
