Medvedev is Putin's hand puppet, and the election was a joke. Have no doubt
about where his mind is---right between Putin's beady eyes.

His very name was a subtle signal to the West: Medved is Russian for "bear".
The bear is back. 

Putin is actually more powerful in the PM position where his micromanagement
tendencies get full exercise.  Last time he was PM he was micromanaging the
disaster in Chechnya. He thinks he can do it better now, and is counting on
us to react with weakness. 

BTW, where are all the code pink folks, condemning Russia's unilateral
actions? Where are the Russian soldier body counts?
