Not necessarily at all. IN the last couple of years Ive only really worked 50-75% of fulltime due to a number of reasons but my income is about average for my job. With lots of work and a good commitment by me to effort I can earn twice the normal salary plus I get to wear jeans and tshirt to the office. I'd have it no other way unless I was offered $200K for an office 9-5 job and last I looked, no-one was offering that.
