For someone who works at home, like myself, twitter helps me feel less
isolated. It's like being able to banter back and forth with coworkers at
the water cooler or over the office cubes .. but from my own little world.
Many of the posts are fun "digs" back and forth .. all in fun .. and some
are actually technical. I can read it when I want .. and turn it off when
I'm busy.
