Rafael, Why not simply use FileZilla the Open source FTP Server & Client. It works extremely well and is simple to set up - about 5 minutes.

However, setting up an ftp on Vista Ultimate is a passage through hell, IMO. I opened up the necessary ports on my router, I downloaded and installed a corrected version of the MMC, following instructions from the MSN site, I set up the ftp directory, applied the necessary permissions, etc, etc. For some unknown reason, Microsoft decided that the Internet information services had to be replaced by a newer, more cumbersome version, IIS 7. I downloaded it, figured out how to install it......All to no avail. I simply can't connect to my ftp. Are there any leads that I could follow, or any links that might help me? I am tempted to reformat the HD and reload XP Prof, but it seems such a waste of good money!!
