You really don't want to play this game. Texas executes the mentally
deficient and the innocent at a rate which should appal even madagain.
Although Im not quite sure what rate of wrongful execution IS acceptable.
There are multiple examples of innocents executed in Texas and Project
Innocence has proved the point time and time again. So showing as an example
one person caught dead-to-rights is disingenuous. And I must ask how you can
show 331 inmates on death row and not comment. Thats a LOT of people looking
at execution. That doesn't seem a tad oppressive or excessive to you?

Hi Geoff,

Will they! I count 331 inmates on Death Row in Texas.

http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/stat/offendersondrow.htm

Sample, picked at random, is #615. Convicted in a 1978 murder, arrested
with a smoking gun the next day. Sentence to life in prison. Shot his
(armed robbery) victim twice, was arrested with the victim's pistol in
his possession. What kind of evidence should there have been?
