Hey Alan - you must really be bored today! Considering your last 3 postings!!!
That being said... ...I actually wanted to seriously get into using Speech Recgonition SW for a number of years now. Going back a few years - I kept figuring it would be a great solution to having to write e-mail responses by hand. And, a GOOD number of years ago - I tried one of them (I think it was Dragon at the time). But, I wasn't thrilled how it was working. Or, I just didn't spend enough time to train it. I suspect things are MUCH better nowadays. But - maybe that is NOT the case - considering this article. Although, sadly enough - I can't read it here at work - since, as usual - this link is being Blocked here... -K- -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Alan Bourke Sent: Wednesday, May 05, 2010 10:06 AM http://robertfortner.posterous.com/the-unrecognized-death-of-speech-reco gnition We were all supposed to be sitting and talking to them about now, weren't we. -- Alan Bourke --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/289ea162f5642645b5cf64d624c66a14071a1...@us-ny-mail-002.waitex.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
