The expectations for Vista were set so high. It was Longhorn this, Longhorn that almost a decade before it was finally released. It was bound to fail from the beginning. Windows 7 does seem to be a half-decent operating system. Good thing for Microsoft, given the other choices available now and coming just around the bend.
