Sytze,
No problems here on 64 bit Windows 7 apart from the one I had earlier in the
month in that I was running the Development system with administrator rights
and hence the OLE Drag/Drop wouldn't work from outside VFP into VFP. Running
VFP as a normal user sorted out the problem.

I would however check that the IT bods at the customers haven't messed
around with the "ownership" properties of files as opposed to the access
rights as this can cause similar problems to the ones you are having.

I do have a very similar problem as yet unresolved running VFP 9 SP1/SP2 on
a Terminal Server box where the o/s sends an error message "not a windopws
32 application". Other VFP programs can run but then the error creeps around
all the Terminal Server sessions until none of the VFP applications work in
any T/S session - an inevitable "creeping death" once it starts.

The only way to resolve the error is then to reboot the whole of the T/S
server box and everything comes back to normal - until the next time!

Subject: VFP on 64 bit

I have a client who has transferred one of my systems to 64 bit Windows 7
It runs fine on my own Windows 7 laptop
He gets a message that says
"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows
you're running. Check
your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit)
or x64 (64 bit)
version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

Is there something I can do or advise my client?
