Heya, So... I've had my first problem come up with my new machine. It's not really a problem-problem so far, but has the potential to become one.
I posted on June 22nd about my new laptop, an ASUS G73JH, arriving. So I've had the machine less than two weeks. The problem? The battery... or, at least, the charge indicator in Windows 7's system tray. At first, the battery listed itself as charging, because, well, it was. It got to 100% and the charge indicator listed as "plugged in, not charging." A couple of days later, that shifted to 99% (plugged in, not charging), a couple of days after that, it was 97%. Today, when I logged in, it was 96%. Now, obviously if the machine is on AC, I don't really need the battery. But, eventually, I'm going to. I'm not sure how to test the battery to be sure whether this problem is an indicator issue or a battery issue. Any recommendations?
