The tech support from Vonage has been pretty weak so far.

According to the vonage router manual, just turning on the "Remote config 
management" function should allow me to remotely log into the box using port 
8080 instead of 80.

Well that doesn't work and no one at Vonage has a clue how to make it work.  

The Modem I am using is a straight-though modem with lets all traffic through.
