I don't have the option of changing out the browser - that is dictated by the Mothership. Corp standard is IE6 and soon to be IE7.... I managed to use WireShark to capture the packet stream for both the IE page load times and FireFox load times.... the Shark has a stats Summary and from that I see, if I am understanding this correctly, that IE is sending nearly TEN TIMES the packets that FireFox is sending....
