I purchased a Nook from Barnes & Noble when I traveled to NY in the winter and am very pleased with it. They did not deliver internationally, but I had it shipped to my son's address in Manhattan and got it directly.
BTW, there are hundreds of places in the internet where you can download many formats of ebooks. An open source program called Calibre, converts the different types of formats into the ereader you own. IOW, I can download a pdf file and convert it into Nook compatible format, then load it and read it in my Nook. Very convenient to store dozens of manuals and pdf books of all sorts. This Calibre program converts doc, pdf, txt and many other formats to whatever ereader you own. Very cool and free!!! You can get it here http://calibre-ebook.com/download_windows Rafael Copquin > I've looked at the specs for the Kindle, Nook, and Sony, and will be > getting a Nook for my upcoming birthday (Even if I have to get it for > myself!)
