Alan:  I did not know that Microsoft had a free AV application.  I don't 
use Vista or Windows7 much and XP always warns you about being 
unprotected without offering any applications other than the ones you 
can purchase.

I am installing it now as it will give me what I need - which is to log 
into corporate networks.  BTW, I don't do email or web on my XP computer 
either.
