You attribute a decision not to trust Microsoft security products to
hatred instead of even considering that someone may not want to use them based

Because they HATE microsoft and that company cannot do anything for them.
It is a religion where people use to say "You are going to hell
because you don't worship at my church" Put in tech references as
needed, same stupidity either way.

Your only explanation as to why anyone would possibly not want to use a
Microsoft product was a blind religious-like hatred.
