First have to say THANKS! to the folks who recommended Spiceworks to me for getting ahold of my hardware and software inventory here at my office. I really like this software. And at a cost of free, it's another "best thing since sliced bread." Even at a cost of $200, it'd be worth it, imo.
My question is about the Windows Firewall setting on my users' computers: I can get very good reads on the machines on my network if the Windows Firewall is turned off. However, what am I risking by turning off the firewall? We've got good anti-virus software in place.
