Four Words: Do You Feel Lucky ?? <g> Actually - shouldn't the firewall protection be taking place at the actual firewall device, rather than the workstations? Either you trust your firewall or you don't... if you don't, then yooz gotz bigger problems than just inventory... <g> I'd wager you are safe(ish) to shut down the machine firewall and then fire it back up if you want it in place...
