Even if you can find a program or hack to help with the migration, it is not always clear as to what programs from the XP machine are even compatible with Windows 7. The 16-bit programs are only the beginning. I believe I had to upgrade a half dozen programs including our accounting software and backup software. Even when programs are compatible you have to make some hacks to get HLP files to work (no native support), Printers may become obsolete, and any programs that write directly to the Program Files subfolders need special consideration. Have you run the Windows 7 compatibility test to see if it recognizes any serious issues?
