I am running windows 7 pro for development on a notebook and would love to
be able to install a virtual server that runs inside 64 bit, Windows 7.
So..... I downloaded the almost 2 gig, four separate files for Virtual
Windows Server 2003 R2, went through the install, then at around 2am saw the
message after launching the session - This Virtual Server will no longer
function as of XXX, 2009. Why in the ^&*(^(*% would they even have the dang
thing available for download? Anyone else running a vm of any flavor of
Windows Server? I tried Server 2005 and 2008 only to be informed that it
doesn't run on this platform. I guess I may have to go to VMWARE.
