Hey Ted - I totally hear ya! As for HTML - I have dabbled in it a good bit over the years - but, mostly from the point of Editing or Modifying HTML code - and NEVER Producing a full webpage purely in HTML. As for CSS - yup, never touched the stuff.
I see that Dave also suggested Wordpress - as you did. Seems to be the way to go. And - yeah - I think it was Blogger that I had tried very briefly recently. Just curious. With like WordPress or Blogger. Can I make it where some part is always at the Top - where as the new content normally gets inserted at the top and older stuff scrolls down. But, can one part of the content always stay at the top? And - with either Blogger or WordPress - can I also do the Google Analytics stuff??? Of course, the downside of the Blogger or WordPress - is probably that I can NOT do EITHER at work - since they block all these sites here - including BLOGS. Yet, I want to be able to add content when I am at my desk during my lunch break - since, we are pretty much allowed to do whatever we want during our lunch breaks. (For me - outside of work - about the only time I can do anything is on weekends - since, evenings after work - and my commute back to LI at night - leaves me hardly any time to do anything...) -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ted Roche Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2012 10:44 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [NF] Website Page Views Counter On Thu, Oct 4, 2012 at 10:04 AM, Kurt Wendt <[email protected]> wrote: > Hey Ted - thanks again for all your helpful suggestions! What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get editors have the problem like our clients of WYWIWIM: What-You-Want-Isn't-What-It-Makes, for the same reason that 'simple' form designers make horrific forms. I understand and sympathize that you don't want to jump in and learn the joys of HTML and CSS when all you want is to post a page. But you don't want a page that looks like it was created by Print Shop Pro by a 4-year-old. Try out WordPress.com. They host, and basic sites are free. If you decide you need some of the whiz-bang features, or your own domain, you can pay a very reasonable monthly fee. But basic sites are free. Alternatives are Blogger and...
