Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am new to the list and the
archives appear to be down.
My "problem" is that I cannot access the updates to Progeny-Debian 1.0
(Newton). I can see them in the archive, at
"http://archive.progeny.com/progeny/updates/newton/";, but I cannot get
to them with the "apt-get update" command. The original lines provided
on my Newton ISO do not work, and I have tried as many changes as I can
conceive of, but to no avail. I have hit a brick wall here.
Would someone be so kind as to give me either the ftp or http lines that
go in /etc/apt/souces.list so that I can access these files. My install
is getting dated, and I would REALLY like to chew on GNOME 1.4 for a
while. Recent messages indicate it is now in the "updates" section, and
the list of files there seem to be quite extensive.
