It's easy to teach J to someone with a grade school background.

This fits the model of "steep learning curve" where we think of the y axis
as representing learning and the x axis as representing time.

But this curve also reaches rather high.

And learning J and mastering J are two very different things.

So a related issue has to do with pacing yourself. You probably should not
imagine that you will reach the top of that curve any time soon. In fact -
since coding is about solving problems and learning to apply your skills -
you should not expect that there is a top to the curve (though it's also
not completely straight, either).

Anyways, my advice would be to pace yourself, and to try and have some fun
doing it, and also to realize that it's not just about learning J.
