Jumping in late ...

Reading Joe's first reference a little more closely I came across the
following excerpt (copied and paste-specialed from page 10).

3.1.4 Sensory difference tests
A sensory difference test is a test of
H0 :
pc ≤ pc0
pd ≤ pd0
d
′ ≤ d
′
0
versus HA :
pc > pc0
pd > pd0
d
′ > d′
0
, (27)

This demonstrates to me that the whole paper is about what we used to refer
to as 1-side hypothesis tests. A sensory test to me is like the hearing
test I took where the technician counts how many of the sounds I could
hear.

Because of the situation, the tea-tasting test is also a 1-sided hypothesis
test, but one could imagine a 2-sided experiment to test whether a tossed
or spun coin is fair.

So my question is, like Henry's, will your app cover the 2-sided
alternative?
