It occurred to me that I had forgotten two other ways that the "rhythm" resultant of 3 2 1 3 1 2 3 could be used--namely, for volume (dynamics) and for speed (tempo) of some music. The point is that any resultant of "interference" of 2 or more rhythms (whether constant "beats" or including another resultant itself) does not automatically refer only to notes on a staff--although that's the easiest and first approach to "rhythm". Resultants can be used for any aspect of a musical composition.
