If bla is a verb, that should not give an error.

If bla bla is some arbitrary sequence which generates a noun, that
should give a domain error (since there's no x).

If I supply nouns for both x and y, I get a syntax error.

If I define d as a noun, I do get a length error. But since there is
an unbalanced right parenthesis by that d, I don't think I can take
this much further without some kind of explanation about what data you
are working with and/or what you expect this to accomplish.

Take care,
