Actually,
as Oleg pointed out, you can type an arbitrary path into the "In
folders" input field.
This did not occur to me because I was thinking of it as a pure drop-down
and the text is
misleading.

I notice that the regex option kills the J session if you specify an
expression with a leading
asterisk but at least this is consistent with what the underlying regex
handler does.
