I'm trying to use Q1 and Q3 out of Keith Smillie's jsp.ijs:

Q2=: median
Q1=: [: Q2 ] #~ Q2 > ]
Q3=: [: Q2 ] #~ Q2 < ]

I have an array called a of shape 17 100, and I'd like to take Q1 and Q3
of each of the 100 experiments, each of length 17 (I'm using Fraser
Jackson's resample solution), but I get results I don't understand:

   $ Q3 each <"1 |: a
100
   $ Q1 each <"1 |: a
|index error: median
|   $    Q1 each<"1|: a

The only difference between the two cases that I see is the use of >
vs. <, and the only difference I see there is the monadic rank, which
I'm not even using, right?

Can anyone show me what I'm missing? I have the feeling it's rather
trivial, but I don't spot it.

Thanks,

Bill
